Local flights are cheaper if they are booked at least a week in advance.

Unfortunately there are no last minute stand-by specials in this country! They normally charge you more.

Internal flights and flights around Southern Africa:

South African Airways

We do not use SAA as we think that they are over priced and are only kept in the air by government officials filling up the business class section (as you will see from the image).

They do however fly to most regions of South Africa, so if you really must use them, be it at your own peril.

We would love to tell you the name of their CEO, but they change that person more often than they do their catering companies.

If you want to make a booking click here.

British Airways

Another, airline who provide very little, for a lot of moola.

BA flies between Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth.

British Airways is operated by Comair and you can book a ticket here.

Kulula.com

Is own and managed by BA - a cheaper option? Well not really, you will find thcan book a ticket here.

Mango

Surprise, surprise another airline which is owned by the biggest airline in the country.

Personally, I will not fly with an airline named after a fruit. If you feel like a sticky ride then you can find them here.
